Eugeny Gerasimov became honorary architect of the Russian Federation
RF Presidential Edict No. 125 from February 2nd 2011 awarded Eugeny Gerasimov «Russian Federation State Awards Conferment». Union of Architects in St. Petersburg congratulated him warmly last Thursday on February 10th.
He graduated Leningrad Institute of Civil Engineering in 1983 then he was working in "LenNIIProject"* and his own architectural company was found in 1991. During 20 years of their work "Evgeny Gerasimov and Partners" became one of the most famous architectural workshops in St. Petersburg and in Russia.
Among the last and most significant projects of this company are - "Europe Embankment", "Nevskay Ratusha" complex, exhibition center "Expoforum" in Shushary, business complex on Malaya Okhta with the central building of the "JSC Bank Saint-Petersburg. Well-known implemented projects are hotel on Ostrovsky square, residential houses on Staro-Nevsky Prospekt, apartment complexes on the Krestovsky and Stone islands - "The Fifth Element", "Stella Maris", "The House by the Sea" (with S. Tchoban), "Green Island", etc. Most of these projects won many prestigious architectural awards. Jewish Community House also won Government Award of St. Petersburg and the Russian Government in the field of culture.
Eugeny Gerasimov is a repeated diploma winner of the international review contest "Zodchestvo", Russian Union of Architects medal holder "For high skill in architecture" and also gold medal of the Union of Architects' International Association.
