On Saturday, October 19, the
international Zodchestvo festival awards were distributed in Moscow.
The Dostoevsky Museum
Enhancement Project has
won the Golden Badge and a diploma in the category Designs — Facilities of Social
and Cultural Significance. This is the top award in this category, and it is
especially valuable to us as it means that the project has been highly
appreciated by the professional community.
Another festival award won
by the workshop was a Silver Badge and a Diploma in the category Buildings — Multiapartment
Residential Houses. It has been awarded to the Russky Dom residential
complex (at 5 Baskov lane).
The latter building has also
received a diploma for development of traditions in modern architecture from the
Russian Academy of Arts.
Another diploma of the Zodchestvo
Festival has been awarded to [AG1] the short film “An Approch
to Enhancement of Dostoevsky Museum” created by the Arkhitekturnye Izlishestva Telegram channel
team. The diploma was awarded “for a fruitful search of new ways to enrich the language
of cinema as to reveal more fully the architect’s endeavour to develop and execute
creative approaches”.
Films on Architecture
category was introduced to the Zodchestvo Festival for the first time. We appreciate
the cooperation of Pavel Gnilorybov and Alexei Solnyshkov. If you had no chance
to watch the film before, it is time to do so.

has been established by Russian Architects Association. Here, the top awards in
the field of architecture in Russia are distributed.
