Evgeny Gerasimov giving a lecture during the A.City Forum

On September 11, 2013 Evgeny Gerasimov, along with other most recognized architects in Saint-Petersburg, gave a lecture during the A.City Forum, taking place within the agenda of the ‘Baltic Build' Exhibition in LenExpo Centre on September 11-13, 2013. The topic suggested for discussion was about ‘Experimental approach to combining the old and new in city architecture'. In his lecture Evgeny Gerasimov, relating to the designs developed in his workshop, demonstrated how the city had changed over the course of time due to the development of innovative technologies in construction that, on one hand, allow for more delicacy while reconstructing the old historical buildings, and, on the other hand, encourage bolder approach to design and construction of brand-new buildings.
